The following are some of the details of the Telugu matrimonial rituals which you should know before attending their weddings:

Traditionally, they used to last for two to three days. Each day has its significance with a unique theme and has certain rituals to it. The wedding itself can be quite long depending on the family status.

It is loud:

Telugu matrimonial are loud affair with the rituals being accompanied by music. The matrimonial music which is played is normally from classic instruments. In Telugu marriage tradition, it is the nadaswaram, a reed wind instrument combined with mridangam and other instruments in the class of percussion.

Practice eating using your hands:

You will need to adjust during the Telugu wedding and know that you are in south India and not in a western country. Spoons are not used or any other cutlery when eating.
The food is served traditionally on banana leaves and has to be consumed traditionally. You are free to ask for a spoon but you will be the odd one out. You should practice eating using your hands.
