During quarantine we are separated from some of our loved ones: parents, grandparents, siblings, close friends. Of course, we realize that this is best for everyone, but it is not easy to be separated from our loved ones, with whom we had previously spent so much time together.
Here are some useful tips from

Call the people you love
You are probably already doing it, but it is not superfluous to remind ourselves that the phone is a great discovery and that we can talk through it. It will be great to think of those who are perhaps the loneliest in such times, such as the elderly and those who live alone. So, even if you are a little busier than usual (working from home is a challenge, especially if you have children to take care of, in addition to the household), try to take some time to call them.
Do things together, even if you are at a distance
Phone and video calls allow you to do different things together, even if you are at a distance from each other. What could you do? Almost everything. You can drink coffee together in a video call - you will feel the same way as in your favorite cafe. You can watch a movie together and comment on what's going on in the chat app. You can also exercise and turn up the volume on your phone to hear your partner gasp in fatigue. You can do almost anything from your usual joint activities - of course, in a slightly different way, but it happens.
Waving from a distance
If you live close to each other, there is no reason not to see your loved ones from a distance. If they are part of the vulnerable groups, you probably visit them to bring them the food and medicine they need, but of course, keeping the necessary distance. When you do this, you can stand a few meters away from the apartment and talk a little. It will not be exactly the same as you are used to doing, but it will certainly help maintain your good relationship.
Children can also play together
If your kids miss their friends, you can help them play together in some way. With the help of a video call, they could play board games, paint and color, talk or build with a constructor. It will take some time for them to adapt to the new conditions, but children are generally quite adaptable and never suffer from a lack of creative ideas. The play options are not limited to friends - they can use the same alternatives to spend time with their grandparents, who unfortunately cannot visit in person at the moment.
Use modern technology
Modern technologies are amazing nowadays and can be very useful in this situation. You can use the video calls that are available with any smartphone as well as computer. This will strengthen your relationships and you will feel as if you are talking to them, face to face.
Don't forget about the people next to you
If you do not live alone, then you are constantly surrounded by your loved ones - this is of course wonderful, but sometimes it can come in handy. It is completely understandable, but you still have to do everything possible to avoid conflicts and unnecessary disputes. Instead, use the time to strengthen and improve your relationship.
Now you finally have a lot of time for each other, what you have always missed in everyday life, so spend these moments in pleasant activities, not in arguments. We know it's easy to say, but hard to do. Maybe it will be easier if each member of the family sometimes takes time for himself, excluding everything and everyone and then returns to the family circle, charged with new energy.
